​Thank you for joining us for Valley Bible Church's Christmas in Hercules 2020 Drive-THRU celebration! The Christmas story introduces us to baby Jesus. He is portrayed as peacefully laying in a manger surrounded by his proud parents and the praise of onlooking shepherds. Getting to this peaceful moment was anything but peaceful. Before the manger scene, there were dramatic encounters with angelic beings, whispers of divorce, and a dreadful journey of great distances. We finally get to that great moment, despite all those setbacks. But, this is not the climax of the story, in fact, it is only the beginning. The baby will grow to be a man and will match His dramatic birth with an even more dramatic death. Jesus’ birth and death have significantly shaped human history unlike anyone before or after him. Why? How has this one man, who was never a king, conqueror, or politician, changed history so significantly. Who is this Jesus? We would love for you to join us for a four-part series, and see who Jesus is. We are calling this series “JESUS IS…”.
